Do you feel compelled to help those in need? Do you see suffering and wonder to yourself, why?
Do you see an unhappy couple and spot exactly what they need to be happy? Do you have a knack for understanding people and the reasons behind their actions?
Do you have an active interest in psychology? Do you have experience in the psychotherapy field? Are you a people person?
Most importantly, are you warm and understanding? Are you a giving and generous person?
Think Carton is always in need of someone like you. There are so many people who come to us for help, so many who wish to find happiness in their lives. We can help them in their pursuit of happiness. By becoming a Solutions Consultant, you will have a direct impact on the quality of life of one person.
Why not join the Peace Corps or Greenpeace? Large organizations help on a large scale. By all means, go and join a non-profit organization of your choice. However, the results of your work are not always evident. Oftentimes there are political elements of such work. Think Carton doesn’t have any political affiliations. And as a small group with a relatively horizontal organization, there aren’t any interoffice politics or hidden agendas.
Think Carton is a small organization that works to help people one at a time. You will develop a relationship with your client, and that relationship can be genuinely rewarding. You will see first-hand the results of the work that you put in. It’s extremely rewarding when that person comes back to you in six months and thanks you from the bottom of her heart for all the help and support you gave her. It’s touching when they send you a Christmas card. Touching lives on the individual level is incredibly satisfying.
